I've spent my evening dyeing my eyebrows, repainting my nails with gelpolish and talking on the phone with my sister now that I've gotten my voice back. It was the perfect way to spend my sunday. ☺ I'm hoping to be fully recovered in a couple of days so I'll feel like I'm on top of the world for my interview on thursday.
I've also sent an e-mail to the woman in charge of the recruitment for the job that I applied for last week that I really want. I haven't really been able to call since talking has really hurt my tonsils but I think it was a good idea to e-mail her now since now if she calls me I'll be able to answer her call. Keep your fingers crossed guys!
What else? Right, today is what we in Sweden call "the first of advent", which is the first sunday in December. There are four "advents", the first one being today, and the three that follow are the three sundays in December before christmas. Don't know exactly why we celebrate it but I do think it has something to do with fasting and preparing for the birth of Jesus and the celebrating of christmas. But nowadays we generally just make saffron buns, drink glögg and light one of the four advent candles. But since I've been sick I haven't done any of those things. But I think I can catch up next week. ☺
